Our Story
Bamboo by Kristy was born from a master’s class inspired by a passion for tourism, creativity, and Ugandan culture. For many years, traditional African crafts have been the primary souvenirs offered to visitors coming to Uganda. While these crafts remain beautiful and meaningful, the vision behind Bamboo by Christy was to create an alternative something unique, modern, and memorable that still celebrates African identity.
The idea was simple: to offer guests and tourists another meaningful option they could take home as a reminder of their experience in Uganda. This led to the creation of handcrafted bamboo products that combine authenticity, elegance, and functionality.
